Merino Wool "Trail Rags"

I’ve been searching for a good cloth for backpacking instead of cotton. This is the best clipped on my backpack and use it for sweat or rinsed off and on my neck to stay cool. Plus the customer service is very responsive. The first one I ordered was not the size I thought and it was quickly replaced no hassle. An item which feels and responds with quality and a long future of awaited use is such a joy on the trail. I just finished a couple of leisurely nights backpacking over 32 miles, and at the end of each of the nights I noted the items which imbue those characteristics of quality and durability versus those which do not.

The technology doesn't do it - it's not going to be the headlamp, it's not your stove - but for me merino wool will do it every time. Bring this over a synthetic/course alternative every day. Make a special point to enjoy the items you bring that provide joy. Even the colors are thoughtfully picked to connect with you. I couldn't recommend this simple item more.

They shouldn’t even be called rags. I can’t recommend them enough! I have waited so long for something like this to resurface and it finally has. These have endless uses, are incredibly soft and will last a long time if cared for properly. They are lightweight, yet absorbent. I ordered the large and medium. They both fold up and make great edc pocket type hanks. Now I need a few smalls as well. Worth every penny, so buy it because you won’t regret it! I hope the blanket is the exact same material.
