We’re Shane and Shereen. What started in a spare room grew into a simple idea: make the gear we wished we could find.

Thoughtful design. Purpose in every stitch. A shared love for the places that bring us back to ourselves.

Our story

Built with our hands.
Inspired by the trail.

We didn’t set out to start a gear company. We set out to find something worth building.

We’re Shane and Shereen Petersen. Our story started in the Midwest, where glacier-carved hills, Northwoods trails, and time outside shaped the way we see the world.

On Wisconsin’s Ice Age Trail, Shane saw a need for a better trail towel. That idea became the Trail Rag—and our spare room became a sewing studio.

Today, we make our gear near the Blue Ridge Mountains in South Carolina. The workspace has grown, but the values are the same: simplicity, stewardship, durability, and purpose.
